These wheel thrown match holders/strikers are made from North Carolina red stone clay. Each pot is adorned with an exposed clay strike zone.

Note: These are made with the intention of using "strike anywhere" matches, as these matches will light directly on the pot. If you don't have strike anywhere matches the pot is also great for holding regular matches, toothpicks, and dental floss picks. (Regular kitchen matches will NOT strike on the pot.)
